Notes:
These are designed to be use with fully protected leads, but can be used with charge leads without sheathing at the connectors. Please use 12 awg size if your charge leads do not have sheathing down to the connectors. The charger side protectors will be selected based off of the charger inputted.
How to use straight protectors:
Make sure your wires are soldered within the solder area. Test fit before applying heat shrink. Apply heat shrink with heat gun or lighter. Let the heat shrink cool, and test fit the protector again. Slide the protector down, and generously apply glue over connector, and heat shrink. Slide protector up, and twist. If needed add more glue from the wire end.
How to use angled protectors:
Make sure your wires are soldered within the solder area. Test fit before applying heat shrink. Apply heat shrink with heat gun or lighter. Let the heat shrink cool, and test fit the protector again. Slide the protector down, and generously apply glue to the bottom half of the protector. Place wire in and apply glue to the top of the heat shrink/connector. Snap top protector on, gently twist and inspect to make sure the protector is fully snapped together.
How to use Xt protectors:
Make sure your wires are soldered within the solder area. Slide protector on ensuring polarity is correct. Slide the protector down, apply a small amount of glue on the sheathing, and flat worded part of the connector. Slide protector up, and push until it snaps. Apply a small amount of glue from the wire side, to backfill if needed.
