What got them into R/C:
I was always sick with asthma and allergies when I was younger and would be in the hospital a lot. So my dad thought it would cheer me up and he bought me a Traxass Slash because he use to race RC cars as well. There was a hobby shop next to the hospital. They had a small clay track we would go to and that’s how I started and got hooked into RC Cars.
Experiences they have had in RC:
I’ve been very lucky to have great mentors in RC Racing since the beginning. We had a local carpet track called TQ Raceway were I would see local fast guys. Randy Caster was really the first pro racer that actually helped me out when I was about 8 yrs old. Gave me driving tips and probably saw some potential in me. I’ve been blessed to race against the best drivers around the World and that continues to drive me to be the best I can be.
How they describe DRC:
Zac Donathen has been very helpful and supportive in my race program for over 2 years. Not only does he make great products but also guarantees his work. He’s always asking us if there is anything he can do and how he can help. Truly a great friend and sponsor!
How they describe being on the team:
Being on DRC has been very rewarding. I would like to thank uncle Lex Tyler for introducing me to Zac. Everyone on the team has been great and always willing to help others at the track. Couldn’t be happier to be part of something special. Thank you Zac for giving me this opportunity to be part of the DRC family!
