This heating element, is approximately the size of a stick pack, and will reach temperatures of 135 degrees, depending on the voltage input.
The Heating Element, if a flame retardant material is put over the top, will up to 2 batteries to 100 degrees.
We do not recommend heating batteries without a material over the top of this unit. The optimal temperature for most batteries is 100 Degrees.

Either wire can be positive or negative.
